The last days of August is perfect timing to get a glimpse of autumn moods in
Levidi, a small town in the prefecture of Arcadia, Peloponnese, Greece. During this time of year, when it is still uncomfortably hot in the big city, a short escape to Levidi will reward the traveler with much cooler temperatures and early autumn smells thanks to mists in the morning and short rainfalls in the afternoon. I always find this so revitalizing.
Here's Levidi on the map.
Levidi is situated at an altitude of 850m. The photos were taken in the vicinity of Levidi, in the plains that surround it.
